She took an interest in active volcanoes from an early age. She studied earth sciences at Université Lyon 1 Claude Bernard, and volcanology at Clermont-Ferrand's Blaise Pascal University.
She has worked in both scientific and academic fields, with an interest in the dynamics of volcanoes and their hydrothermal circulation, in Italy at the University of Florence and the INGV National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. She then continued her research in Spain at the CSIC research centre in Barcelona from 2010 to 2018.
Subsequently she spent 2 years in Oahu (Hawaii, US) on a project to characterise the circulations and water resources of the volcanic islands. She now works on environmental issues and natural hazards with cutting-edge geophysical surveys as R+D engineer with Naga Geophysics (Savoie, France).
